Lidl

Over the course of three years, I worked with Lidl Asia's HR Department to create tools and marketing materials to attract new talent to the company. Initially, I designed an in-person career fair booth and merchandise, which had to be converted to an online format when the event was cancelled due to COVID-19. I also sourced the printing and production of roller banners, posters, and merchandise for prospect hires prior to the event's cancellation.

As Lidl is not as well-known in Hong Kong, I broke away from the company's traditional minimalist corporate style and created something new and enticing to catch the attention of the younger demographic. Through market research, I discovered that work-life balance was a key consideration for young professionals when considering employment. Using existing Lidl staff as models, I created a campaign that showcased their personal interests outside of work, linking the attributes Lidl was looking for in potential new employees with the substantial work-life balance current employees enjoyed. This helped attract potential employees to the company, and represented Lidl Asia as an attractive employer.
