WEBSITE DESIGN, UX / UI AND COPYWRITING

Rosewood

As part of my work with Rosewood, a luxury hotel and resort company with 28 hotels in 16 countries, I was responsible for designing the UI / UX and creating the copy for their website showcasing their Kamala Bay residence in Thailand.

Through detailed discussions with the senior director for global residential marketing, I was able to capture the company's vision for the residence and create content and marketing that aligned with Rosewood's strict guidelines and high standards.

Challenge

As the project was in the early stages of development, we had no visuals to showcase the residences. We had to create a website that would work as a sales tool for these high-end luxury propertys without any imagery.

Solution #1

The website concept is centred around effortless island living, reflecting the location's unique history, culture, and sensibilities. The intuitive service provided by Rosewood allows the homeowner to enjoy high-end amenities on a utopia-esque virigin island. The resulting copy, "A Seascape Sentiment of Home," successfully conveyed the grandiosity and comfort of the luxury resort.

Solution #2

By drawing on the legacy of Rosewood and the credibility of their partnering consultants / developers I created a portfolio of past projects to display on the website. The images work as a tool to aid the viewer in invisioning the beauty of the soon to be villas.

Solution #3

It was of the utmost importance that the renderings from the Architect accurately depict the homes for sale, as such the deadline exceeded the website launch date. As an intermediate solution, we created watercolour illustrations of the renderings to work as placeholders.
